Advanced Optical Solutions (AOS), headquartered in Uniontown, PA, was founded in February 2004 by a seasoned group of cable industry veterans. AOS began as an organization focused on designing, deploying, and supporting fiber optic networks as well as representing several large vendors of Ethernet/DWDM/SONET electronics in the channel.
As AOS grew and matured, we found that the demands of our customers were much more broad in scope than simply optical networking. More often than not, our customers required a full range of disciplines to fully integrate their networks; IP routing, switching, Unix/Linux, various server daemons (DHCP, DNS, Apache, TACACS+, RADIUS, etc), security assessment, 3rd-party vendor integration, documentation, power protection, process management, capacity management, unified communications, converged networks, etc. Our team possesses a broad skill set which enables AOS to satisfy the demands of our customers.
After several successful years of serving customers in the "optical" realm, we've answered the call of our customers and expanded our services to accommodate their needs.
